Photographs published in the yearbook of the University of Iowa between 1893 and 1942, the Hawkeye, are indexed in two files: an index of photographs of individuals (students, faculty, staff), arranged alphabetically by name of individual; and an index of photographs of groups and teams (athletic teams, fraternities and sororities, staffs of publications, music groups, social organizations, etc) and of buildings, campus scenes, and other views that may not include images of people.
Please note that these indexes are not complete and that the yearbooks may includes images of individuals or groups/teams that are not listed in the indexes.
